Mary Pat Gaier, MEd, LPCC, is a Mental Health Counselor, who spent about seven years working with children in foster care, institutions and in their homes. Following the completion of her Master’s Degree, she transitioned into counseling in an office environment, which she has been doing for more than thirty years.
Mary Pat has an undergraduate degree from Mount St. Joseph University with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. She has an MEd in Psychology from Xavier University and is licensed by the state as a PCC.
Mary Pat has worked with individual, couples and families as a Mental Health counselor. She helps people to understand the effects of their history while at the same time assisting them to learn new, positive ways of thinking along with the ability to make healthier, conscious choices with awareness of possible consequences. Cognitive Behavior Therapy is the method she uses most often. Her priority is to assist people in gaining insight while making behavior changes. Learning communication skills and improving relationships is another. Learning good self-care goes along with the overall counseling experience. Specialty areas include the diagnosis of Mental and Emotional Disorders, treatment of Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Adjustment Disorders and Bi-Polar Disorder. She also works with people who are recovering from addiction.
Her philosophy of care is to always respect and care about the client and to do her best with them and remain positive. Mary Pat is an Equestrian and loves riding her Pinto/warm-blood mare, Chloe.
Katie March, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with five years of experience. She has a Master’s Degree from Xavier University. Her focus areas are Anxiety, Depression, Grief and Bereavement, Relational Problems, Stress Management and Postpartum Depression. Katie’s approach to care is to build a caring relationship and establish trust with her clients. She has the well-being her clients at hear and always tries to meet the client where they are. Katie enjoys running and participating in outdoor activities.
Colleen Onders has been a licensed Social Worker since May of 2016. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2016 and has worked as a Mental Health Therapist with Catholic Charities in Hamilton, Ohio since June. Through an internship in graduate school and her work since graduating, Colleen has worked in school and outpatient mental health settings with children, adolescents and families with an assortment of mental health symptoms. Her professional goal is to educate and provide support to families and individuals suffering from mental illness and to work to end the negative stigma often connected to mental illness.
Patrick Reynolds-Berry is a Bilingual Mental Health Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College and Master of Social Work from Boston College. Patrick is fluent in English and Spanish. He’s experienced in cross-cultural communication and diversity, adjustment disorders related to international migration and enculturation, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Patrick has experience working with children, youth, and adults as individuals and in groups. His training includes Spiritually-Informed Psychotherapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Adventure Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio. He has three years of experience.
