CINCINNATI – September 24, 2018 – Tony Stieritz, will be the COO of Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio beginning October 9.
Stiertiz served as the director of the Archdiocese Diocese of Cincinnati Social action Office since 2004. In that position, he led social justice concerns and initiatives such as immigration reform, poverty reduction, the environment, citizen reentry, affordable housing, respect life and religious liberty.
“Tony worked closely with Catholic Charities regarding advocacy and education of serving the poor and Catholic Social teaching. He built relationships at the parish, Archdiocese, community, state and national level with individuals and agencies that will transfer to the work of Catholic Charities. We look forward to Tony’s joining Catholic Charities in his new role,” said Ted Bergh, CEO of Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio.
